Can focus on certain sections or subjects if requested (e.g. tense agreement or continuity), or a general commentary. Usually most suitable for first drafts etc.
Proofreading
$3 per 1,000 words
Check for typos, spelling mistakes, minor grammar issues etc, with no re-writing. Will comment on any larger issues for you to revisit, but will not fix them directly. Usually most suitable for works that have already been edited but need a final look for things that have been missed.
Editing
$5 per 1,000 words
In-depth editing for flow, tense agreement, sentence structure etc. More significant changes needed than just a proofread, e.g. re-writing or re-ordering of sentences for readability, fixing mixed tenses, or improving language/vocabulary.
